Tanggu 堂鼓

​Tanggu 堂鼓 (Drum)

The Tanggu is a more modern drum which is medium in size, has two heads of animal skin and is played with two sticks. It was created about 250 years ago during the 19th century. The Tanggu can come in two different sizes. Xiao (small) and Da (large).
